"There are many Bedouin villages in the Negev that are on state land... What the state should have done was kick them all the hell out of there... Send them to Sinai, where they came from, all of them. Flatten everything."
Danny Neuman, a famous Israeli sports commentator and a genocidal pundit, calls to ethnically cleanse all the so-called "unrecognized villages" of Palestinian Bedouin citizens of Israel in the Occupied Naqab.
Most of the so-called "state land" in the Negev was traditionally owned by Bedouin clans until 1948. In the Nakba most were ethnically cleansed, with many ending up in Gaza. Almost all of those who managed to stay have faced forced displacement, lost their land, and continue to face intensifying ethnic cleansing.
Aired on Channel 14 on April 29.
